In media composing, Hatches is inspired by a wide range of musical styles including Jazz, Classical, Minimalism, Electronic, Dance, and Ambient. As a queer creator, Hatches pays special homage to other queer artists, taking heavy inspiration from Wendy Carlos, Sufjan Stevens, and Sophie. Blending electronic textures with classical melodies and deep rhythmic percussion, Hatches seeks to create their own unique sonic landscapes for any project they work on.
